Floyd

This is Floyd. He is a male (neutered), Mackeral, brown tabbycat (declawed). Floyd is approximately 10-11 years old. We adopted him from the shelter in November 2000, at which time the vet told us he was about 2 years old. Floyd had come to the shelter as a stray, so obviously, he had spent a lot of time outdoors. But while we have had him, he has been exclusively an indoor cat (although he continues to always try to get out any open door!). Floyd is a sweetheart! He is the perfect cat: loves to sit on your lap, loves to play, loves to be around everything that is going on, loves to greet people, is very confident around other animals. Floyd needs a new home because one of his owners recently took allergy tests and found out he is allergic to cats!

Garfunkel

This is Garfunkel. He is a male (neutered), Mackeral, gray tabbycat (he has all his claws intact). Garfunkel is approximately 2 1/2 yrs. old and came to us from the shelter as a kitten. (He came to the shelter as a kitten when he and his brother were rescued from a drain pipe.) He has NO experience living outside and never shows any interest in going outside. Although he is somewhat "skittish," he has a very sweet, gentle temperament. Garfunkel enjoys attention and he loves to play. He has been living in a household with one other older, male cat. Garfunkel gets along well with the other cat, but the other cat has been the more domineering of the two. He has had extended exposure occasionally to an adult chocolate lab when our daughter has brought her dog with her to visit us. So Garfunkel will do well around other animals, but his personality will probably "blossom" if he is the only pet and gets lots of attention. Garfunkel needs a new home because one of his owners recently took allergy tests and found out he is allergic to cats!
